CIRCULAR 2035
Green energy. Circular industry. Resilient communities.
Welcome to CIRCULAR 2035, Aabenraa's annual top leader conference, rooted in a simple but powerful proposition: The green energy transition is not only an emissions reduction quest, but a generator of entirely new industrial ecosystems, reviving rural economies and building infrastructure for long-term societal resilience.
Join us on 8 October 2026 at historical Folkehjem in Aabenraa, the location of south Jutland's reunification, and now the center of ambitious, broad-scale green transition - and the emerging Danish-German cross-border hydrogen economy.
At the heart of the conference programme is a concrete working example: Aabenraa Circular. A green, sector-coupled and circular industry symbiosis, and a principle to drive both growth and green transition, anchored by what will be Denmark's largest transformer station, and the already operational Power-to-X facility in Kassø - the world's largest.
CIRCULAR 2035 is the annual conference that will showcase its solutions as a model for European energy independence, resilience and competitiveness in new industries, stress-test its solutions and derived value chains, and unite ambitious investors and stakeholders in a forward-looking forum - from hydrogen and Power-to-X, to circular food and materials producers.

About CIRCULAR 2035:
CIRCULAR 2035 is an annual conference for hydrogen, Power-to-X and derived industry development, held in Aabenraa, Denmark, on Denmark's border with German. Aabenraa is fast becoming a living lab for the green transition, and an emerging hub, demonstrating a new model for green energy deployment - from power and e-fuels production to derived industries and circular utilities.
Its principles for upcycling waste streams and connecting symbiotic industry facilities enables a sector-coupled, circular green industry cluster across its southern Denmark cross-border region. Each October, the conference will gather the pioneers: From engineers to policymakers, investors to innovators, and pioneering public organisations planning and building the infrastructure, the industries, and the regulatory frameworks that make a truly circular industrial economy possible.
Featured speakers
CIRCULAR 2035 is a high-level gathering of 200 senior decision-makers at the forefront of the green industry transition. The audience spans CEOs, executive directors and heads of strategy from hydrogen and Power-to-X developers, grid operators, circular utilities, food tech and bio-based materials companies, infrastructure investors and EU funding bodies, alongside senior representatives from Danish and German regional and national government.
Keynote speakers and panellists are drawn from the same level - this is not a conference of observers, but of the people actively building, funding and regulating the transition
